Kontinuierlich stellt die nicht-gegenständliche Malerei das Fundament seines künstlerischen Schaffens dar. Komposition als Kernthema, gegenläufige oder plane Strukturen, pastose Farbflächen, deutlicher Duktus und eine reduzierte Palette sind charakteristisch für mosekes Arbeiten. Intuition und Konzept werden hierbei nicht als gegensätzliche Herangehensweisen wirksam—sie bedingen einander, formen mit entschlossenen Setzungen emotionale Bildräume. Moseke lebt mit Unterbrechungen seit 1982 in Berlin. Mitte der Neunzigerjahre studierte er Freie Kunst bei Professor Westendorp in Ottersberg. Zahlreiche Ausstellungen und Projekte führten ihn durch die Republik, nach Belgien, Italien und Taiwan.

Non-representational painting continuously represents the foundation of Moseke’s artistic work. Composition as a core theme, opposing or plane structures, impasto color surfaces, clear ductus and a reduced palette are characteristic of Moseke's work. Intuition and concept do not act as opposing approaches—they are mutually dependent, forming emotional pictorial spaces with determined settings. Moseke has lived, with interruptions, in Berlin since 1982. In the mid-nineties he studied fine arts with Professor Westendorp in Ottersberg. Numerous exhibitions and projects have taken him throughout the Republic, to Belgium, Italy and Taiwan.

Malerei bedeutet für mich gelebte Freiheit, im Prozess und im Ergebnis. Im Informell gibt es die geringsten Einschränkungen – für mich und den Betrachter gleichermaßen. Es ist erstaunlich, wie unterschiedlich meine Angebote auf der assoziativen Ebene wahrgenommen werden. Auf der emotionalen Ebene wirkt die Komposition, die immer das Herz meiner Bilder ist.

Der permanente Blick nach vorne, mein eigener Anspruch und die Erwartungshaltung von außen, stetig etwas Neues schaffen und zeigen zu müssen, steht oftmals einer intensiveren Reflexion im Wege. In das tiefere Gedächtnis meiner Bilder einzutauchen, ist Analyse und Positionierung zugleich—wieder und wieder lerne und schöpfe ich aus den Strukturen, der Materialität und Farbtiefe.

Painting for me means lived freedom, in the process and in the result. In informal there are the least restrictions - for me and the viewer alike. It is amazing how differently my offerings are perceived on the associative level. On the emotional level, the composition, which is always the heart of my images, has an effect.

The permanent look ahead, my own demand and the expectation from the outside to constantly create and show something new, often stands in the way of a more intense reflection. To dive into the deeper memory of my images is analysis and positioning at the same time—again and again I learn and create from the structures, materiality and color depth.
